I attended my second class yesterday. The staff of the Quilt Corral is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, giving everyone that attended individual attention. The first time I went into the shop for help, even though I was new to town, I was accepted and received all of the help I needed. What a great place to hang out!! Thanks Quilt Corral.

I just got back from the retreat at Elk Creek House. What a grand weekend! Lots of sewing, laughing, eating and fun. The mini demos were perfect. Having a expert quilter on call there to help solve problems saved the day. I loved the area we had to sew in. The food was great. My room was nice and warm, clean and comfortable. I know a lot of work went on behind the scenes before, during and after the retreat. Thanks to Nancy, her family and staff for making this a great memory. Sign me up for next year. The weekend between the NFL playoffs and the Superbowl right?

I too went to the Elk Creek Retreat and boy was it ever great. I really learned alot, met new quilters and the accomodations were fantastic. I could of stayed for a week. !!!!! I thought the cook did an excellent job keeping us content with the meals that were prepared. I’m gonna tell my friends what they missed so they can sign up early enough for next year. You don’t want to miss out on this retreat.

hi, this is molly from plants by mel in ek creek, ca. its great to see that you are having guests come up to the elk creek house. i wanted to leave a note to let you and your friends know that we are located dowtown elk creek and open year round. we have the best garden goodies in the west. right now we are offering “bailey blend” our special salad mix, by the bag, ready to eat. there are many other seasonals offered as well. we also have a full line nursery with garden starts. please come on by when you taking a quilt break, stretch- we are just down the street. thanks, plants by mel
